    We are staying at Old Key West at the end of August and have a character breakfast booked at Animal Kingdom for 8am, how long should we allow for travelling to the park and will the buses run that early?

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

    You should definitely take Disney transportation to the Animal Kingdom as the entrance to the parking lot doesn't open that early.  If you drive yourself or take a taxi, there's a good chance you will be stuck at the toll booth for a while; that has happened to me on a couple of occasions.

    To be on time, I suggest being at your bus stop by 7:15 am.  However, I also suggest stopping at your front desk the night before and asking what time Disney recommends showing up at a bus stop for a trip to the Animal Kingdom for an early morning breakfast reservation.  The front desk will have the most accurate and latest information.
