    We will be staying at Old Key West in the DVC 3 bedroom Grand Villas in July. Will the refrigerators have an ice maker with water and ice dispenser on the outside?

    Hi Maurer, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    You must be counting down already for your upcoming stay this summer in one of the Grand Villas at Disney's Old Key West Resort! Not only does Disney's Old Key West Resort have the distinction of being the first Disney Vacation Club Resort, it also boasts some of the largest accommodations within Disney Vacation Club. I have no doubt that this spacious Grand Villa will truly feel like a home-away-from-home!

    During your stay in the Grand Villa, you will have access to a fully equipped kitchen, complete with many standard amenities, including a full sized refrigerator, stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. While the refrigerators in the Grand Villas do not have outside water and ice dispensers, you will still be able to make ice from the ice cube trays contained within the internal freezer compartment of your full sized refrigerator.

    Maurer, if you are looking to experience a unique activity during your stay at Disney's Old Key West Resort, you may be interested in a new tour currently being offered on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. “The Legend of Conch Flats” is a complimentary walking tour offering Guests a glimpse into how Disney Imagineers brought Old Key West Resort to life through an imaginative weaving of historical facts with charming fiction.  The tour is suitable for all ages and no registration is necessary. Concierge Cast Members at the Resort will be happy to confirm tour meeting times and locations upon your arrival at Old Key West.
