    Hi, we are staying at Old Key West. My children love to have fruit when they get up in a morning and I am wondering where the easiest place is for me to purchase fruit from to store in the fridge to eat when we get up. I don't want to use snack credits.x

    Disney's Old Key West Resort was the first place my family stayed on our very first trip to Walt Disney World so it holds a very special place in my heart! We just love the laid back atmosphere and the relaxing feel around the entire property.

    I can definitely understand wanting to have a cold piece of fresh fruit in the morning before heading off to the Parks for the day. Conch Flats General Store is located just across from the main lobby of the Resort and they have a small selection of grocery items including milk, bread and fresh fruit for sale. I've found that if you're not renting a car, it's easiest to hop on a bus from the main building and get off at the bus stop closest to the Villa you're staying in so you're not walking in the heat with cold food.

    Another great option is to place an order with GardenGrocer.com. They've got a great service where they will shop for you and deliver your groceries right to your Resort hotel. I really love using this service because we find that it saves us a ton of money if we eat one meal a day in our Villa. You can do this from home before your trip and schedule the day you'd like your groceries delivered! It's really handy!
