we will be staying at Old Key West in a 3 bedroom villa in early November. Under "my reservations" it says we can check-in online 10 days in advance. What is the advantage in checking-in early?

    Hi Rebecca,

A 3 bedroom villa at Old Key West (our DVC home resort!) sounds wonderful!!  And your trip is just around the corner -- even better!

By doing the online check in prior to your arrival, your arrival at the resort will be simplified as well as expedited.  And I have learned this from experience as I enviously stood in the regular line watching guests come and go who had already checked in.

When you do the early check in, you will be asked to provide some basic information as well as a credit card. You can also make room requests at this time (no guarantees, however). When you arrive, you'll need to go to the online check in counter where you will be asked to show a photo id. Then, you'll receive your welcome folder and be on your way!  Just an fyi that using the online check in doesn't mean that your room will be ready prior to the official check in time.

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel; please let us know if we can help again.

    Wishing you magical memories!  ---Kara
