Hi there, Donna, welcome back to planDisney!
You've chosen a fantastic time of year to visit
Walt Disney World Resort! The theme parks and resorts look absolutely magical decked out for the holiday season.
Disney’s Old Key West Resort, in particular, features festive Christmas trees with decorations that perfectly complement the resort’s charming theming.
Good news! As a registered guest at a Disney Resort Hotel, you are entitled to
complimentary self-parking at the Resort, as well as standard parking at the Theme Parks. I spoke with a Cast Member who shared that if you are a registered adult on a room reservation, you are entitled to complimentary parking at the resort. At the theme parks, if you wish, you can upgrade to preferred parking for an additional fee. Preferred parking lots are closer to the Theme Park entrances, making your exit quicker at the end of a long day. At Disney’s Old Key West Resort, there is ample parking right outside each Villa building. I’ve never had a problem getting parking close to our room.
One of my favorite activities on a non-park day is exploring the resorts to admire the beautifully themed Christmas trees – they are always so impressive! If you have time, I highly recommend hopping the resort monorail and visiting the Gingerbread display at
Disney’s Contemporary Resort and the incredible life-sized gingerbread house covered with sweets and decorations at
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! Donna, I hope I’ve answered your question with information that helps with your vacation planning. If you have any other questions, please revisit

Enjoy making magical memories,
