Welcome back, Brittany! When we see a returning guest here at planDisney we get more excited than Princess Anna on coronation day!
Brittany, with
Disney's Old Key West Resort's island charm, I feel certain that Olaf would think this property is
worth melting for and I hope you will feel the same. Since you weren't able to secure a room close to the Hospitality House, let's talk about which area might be the best fit for your traveling party.
My family and I just stayed in a
deluxe studio room at Disney's Old Key West Resort last summer and to minimize walking, I would recommend requesting buildings 23, 24, 25 or 26. While these buildings are not in the category recognized as "Near Hospitality House," my family and I found these buildings to still be convenient to that area including the
Conch Flats General Store, the
Sandcastle Pool and dining options like
Olivia's Cafe. Building 26 is also adjacent to the Peninsular Road Bus stop which might give it a "leg up" if you're planning on daily park visits. Brittany, I'll also encourage you to check out the
interactive map of Disney's Old Key West Resort where you can explore the layout of the resort prior to calling in your request.
Brittany, I hope this helps as you're dreaming of your stay at Disney's Old Key West Resort. While I know Sven would say that
reindeers are better than people, he wouldn't say anything is better than a Disney Vacation Club Resort stay! From all the Royal residents of Arendelle (and those of us at planDisney) we hope to see you here again with any additional questions.
Best wishes for a Magical trip,
Lauren
