Hi, Lisa! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
I'm so excited to hEAR that you will soon be traveling to Walt Disney World Resort! During the
phased reopening process, things may look a little different from what we're used to, but the magic will still be there. Now that Walt Disney World Resort is once again welcoming Guests, physical distancing is extremely important. One tool that has certainly helped with this is
Online Check-In service.
Before your vacation, you can complete the Online Check-In process by logging into your
My Disney Experience account either on the
Walt Disney World website or using your
My Disney Experience mobile app. You will need to provide information such as your arrival time, contact information, and room location requests. On your arrival day, you will receive a text message when your
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel room is ready. In most cases, you will be able to head straight to your room without stopping to check-in at the front desk.
When making room location requests during the Online Check-In process, you will be asked to choose from a list of general options such as "highest floor" or "near the stairs." If you have a more specific room location request, I recommend calling the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone number to speak with a Cast Member. Cast Members will do their very best to accommodate your room requests, but please keep in mind that these are only requests and cannot be guaranteed.
Lisa, I hope that you enjoy your stay at
Disney's Old Key West Resort. Be sure to stop by
Olivia's Cafe for some home-style cooking. This restaurant is a Walt Disney World Resort hidden gem! If you have any additional questions as you get ready for your trip, please visit us again.
See ya real soon!
Samantha
