Hi Jaynee! Welcome to planDisney!
Disney's Old Key West Resort has been one of my favorites for quite some time. It's the quintessential resort to stay at when you are searching for a more relaxed visit. With the resort being as large as it is, you can stay away from the hustle and bustle of the main building and enjoy the amenities that are located closer to your room.
The Old Turtle Pond Road area is situated further away from the Hospitality House but is close to the
Turtle Shack Poolside Snacks location. I took a look at the current menu offerings and while there is not a ton of gluten-free options, there are some choices that will cater to this request. There are a couple of salad options along with a Loaded Nachos choice that all seem to be gluten-free. I would check with a Cast Member upon arrival to verify this information.
I checked out
Good's Food to Go menu as well, which is the quick service location located near the main building There did not seem to be a ton of options offered here as well, although you may be able to modify some items to ensure they are gluten-free. Your best bet for dining options will be the onsite table-service restaurant, Olivia's. Here, you can speak with your server to see what menu items are gluten-free or what can be modified to accommodate this request. You can also take the boat to
Disney Springs for the variety of dining options offered there.
Jaynee, I hope this information helps you decide on where to stay during your upcoming visit. Keep in mind that room requests are not guaranteed for your stay. The Cast Member assigning your room will take them into account and do their best when it comes time.
See ya real soon!
