I am staying at OKW feb 2014 with my husband, 2 kids (6&9) and my mom. We have a 1 bedroom and looking forward to the stay. Is there a specific building we should request, not too far from food & buses, quiet with a good view and 2 entrances to ba

    Hi Jennifer,

I love Disney's Old Key West Resort.  The calm and relaxed vibe really puts me in a vacation mood!

I have some good news for you.  Nearly all of the villas at Disney's Old Key West Resort have lovely views.  We have had views looking out on lush green vistas, as well as some water features.  Also, Disney's Old Key West Resort does have a transportation system that runs throughout the resort.  Even if your villa is a little farther away from the food and main bus stop, there will be Disney transportation near to your villa to get you around the resort.

That said, if you are looking for a villa close to Olivia's Cafe and other food, you might ask for a villa in buildings 11, 12, or 13.  These buildings offer lovely views and are a quick walk to the food and main pool and recreation areas.  Please know that while Disney will do their best to honor all requests, they cannot be guaranteed.

As to your considerations on the entrances within your villa, I recommend that you go to the unofficial site yourfirstvisit.net.  From there, search "Old Key West," and one of the first links that appears is an article with a floor plan layout of a one-bedroom villa at Old Key West.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Jennifer!  Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
