Hi Elizabeth!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited that you chose
Disney’s Old Key West Resort; you will have a fantastic time. As I said before,
the Resort is quintessential Southern charm. There are even hammocks swinging in the breeze, inviting you to take a break! Make sure to have a meal at
Olivia’s Cafe. I highly recommend the Conch Fritters and Shrimp Po’ Boy Sandwich - they are delicious!
Now that we live in Florida, we do the same thing you are planning to do and bring our groceries with us in bags and a cooler. This is both budget-friendly and super convenient. I love that the kiddos have “their” cereal in the morning, my husband has “his” tea, and I have “my” sparkling water right on hand in
our Villa kitchen. When you arrive at the
Resort, Cast Members at Bell Services will gladly hold your groceries until you are ready to pick them up. Don’t worry about items that need to be refrigerated; they have a fridge available for perishables. If you would like your groceries delivered to your room, there is a $6 delivery charge, and you will need to be in your room to accept them.
Since you are headed to the Parks as soon as you arrive, make sure to use
FastPass+ to secure your place in line! If you haven’t already, download the
My Disney Experience app and use it to plan out your days. You can make your
attraction selections,
mobile order food, and even
unlock your hotel room door!
Elizabeth, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. Have a wonderful vacation!
Rayna
