Hi Maegen,
Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
As a
Disney Vacation Club Member, I've had the opportunity to enjoy staying at
Disney's Old Key West Resort on a few vacations to Walt Disney World, and I really love the resort. I love the laid-back tranquil vibe, the proximity to Disney Springs, and the spacious accommodations. If you take a look at
the online Resort map, you'll see that the Hospitality House area is where many of the favorite spots can be found. That's where you'll find Resort check-in, Community Hall, recreation,
Olivia's Cafe, Sandcastle Pool, the boat launch to Disney Springs, and
Conch Flats General Store among other cool spots. You'll notice that some of the room accommodation options specify
"Near Hospitality House," so I'd suggest giving consideration to those options.
Maegen, there's lots to love about Disney's Old Key West Resort and I'm sure you'll enjoy a wonderful stay. And when you stop into Olivia's Cafe for breakfast, do try the Banana Bread French Toast. It's simply delicious!
Enjoy your Disney!
Jerry
