Hello! I am staying at OKW. Am I allowed to park my car at Riviera and take the skyliner to Epcot? Is there a charge to park there? I will have my handicap car tag with me. Thank you for your help. Janet

    Hi Janet,

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question.  It looks like your vacation is nearly here, and for some extra Pixie Dust, your visit will coincide with Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration!  I have been fortunate enough to visit twice during this historic celebration and can tell you that your vacation will be one to remember.

Currently, only Guests staying at Disney's Riviera Resort and Guests with reservations for dining in that location are able to park there.  If you do happen to secure dining reservations at one of the restaurants inside Disney's Riviera Resort, self-parking is complimentary.

If your goal is to experience the Disney Skyliner, you are certainly welcome to do so!  In fact, it is quite fun to ride for the pleasure of it.  You could even make a reservation for one of the restaurants near a Disney Skyliner Station such as Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera which is a lovely restaurant located at Disney's Riviera Resort, and pop over for a meal when you are visiting EPCOT.

Janet, you mentioned you have a handicap car tag, and I wanted to let you know that Walt Disney World has many Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities.  This includes many things such as handicapped parking, rental of ECV's/scooters, accessible paths of travel and so much more.

I hope this information is helpful to you.  Please stop by again if you have any further vacation planning questions, we are always happy to help.

    Have a Magical vacation!
