Hi Sharon,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are honored that you trust us to help you with your planning questions! I have only stayed at
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort once but I have visited Fort Wilderness many times. There is so much to see and do at
Fort Wilderness. I think you will be enchanted when you visit this particular resort.
I say "when" because I think you shouldn't miss
Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long. Everyone's favorite chipmunks have invited all guests to stop by for a rootin' tootin' good time. There is no cost to attend the Sing-A-Long but you are going to want to plan to purchase a build-your-own s'mores kit from
The Chuck Wagon. If you need a bigger bite, they have burgers, hot dogs, and the ever-popular Mickey pretzels. If you're feeling adventurous, they also have moonshine cocktails.
After the Sing-A-Long is over, Chip 'n' Dale have to mosey on home, but you are welcome to sit for a spell and watch a movie at the Campground Cinema. Weather permitting, they show a Disney classic movie outside every night. My family has always loved the novelty of watching a movie under the stars.
Sharon, thank you for visiting us with another great question! I hope you will let us know if we can help you with any other planning questions before your visit.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Amy H.
