If we are staying offsite and want to get to the Magic Kingdom 45 minutes before it opens, will we have to walk from the parking lot or taxi drop off to the gate? How far of a walk is it?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jenna!

It sounds like we have a lot in common because I also like being at Magic Kingdom Park bright and early. You can walk down Main Street U.S.A. and take in the sights and smells, take a few pictures in front of Cinderella Castle while guests are still filtering in for the day, and then be in place to make your way to your favorite attraction as soon as it opens. Getting there early is some of my best advice for guests who want to see and do it all!

If you're staying offsite, I would recommend driving or using a rideshare or taxi service to get to Walt Disney World Resort. You'll be dropped off at the Transportation and Ticket Center where you can either catch the monorail or the ferry boat to take you to Magic Kingdom Park. From there, it's a very short walk to the entrance and you'll be browsing Mickey Mouse ears at the Emporium before you can say "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious"! When you're leaving, you can repeat that process in reverse to get back to the Transportation and Ticket Center and either head back to your car or have your rideshare or taxi pick you up there.

There is transportation available to all of the theme parks and Resort hotels at Walt Disney World Resort, and the best part is it's complimentary! Another transportation option will be added this fall with the Disney Skyliner, making getting around even for guests to get where they want to go.

    Have a magical day, Jenna!
