Hi! We are staying offsite and we want to wander the resorts on our first day, instead of rushing to a park. We have an 18 mos old and 4 yr old. What are some fun resorts to visit? Thanks!!!

    Hi Kathy,

I love hearing from fellow Bay-Staters! Resort hopping is so much fun! We love taking time to explore Disney's incredible lodging options.

You'll definitely want to check out the Animal Kingdom Lodge, it is absolutely incredible! You could spend quite a bit of time there, just exploring the resort and looking at the animals on the savanna.

I also highly recommend that you visit the Wilderness Lodge, it's breathtaking!

Also if you park at the Boardwalk Inn, you can check out that resort, then walk the loop around Crescent Lake to the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. I love this area.

Your 4 year old would likely love riding the monorail, so you may want to do that loop as well and check out the Grand Floridian, Polynesian and Contemporary (depending on how much time you have).

    Wishing you a wonderful vacation,

    Kaylene
