We are staying offsite. We have 7:25 am reservations at Chef Mickeys and then we have 9:15 am reservations for Capture the Moment. What time can we park at TTC? I also read that we can pay for valet parking at contemporary and keep our car there. Help!!!

    Hi Kristen! Welcome to planDisney.

I see you are counting down the weeks until your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! There is so much holiday magic in the air throughout the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs - the halls are decked, the gingerbread Mickeys are baked, and cups of good cheer are all around. You're going to have so much festive fun!

What a magical morning you have planned! My family enjoyed breakfast at Chef Mickey's on our summer vacation, and we loved the food as well as the fantastic character interactions. It really is a party atmosphere with the Fab 5, so get your tummies and your cameras ready.

Parking at Disney's Contemporary Resort is reserved for Guests staying there or those with dining reservations. While you will be welcome to park there for your dining reservation at Chef Mickey's, you are not permitted to leave your car parked there while visiting Magic Kingdom Park. Being towed is not magical, so your best bet is to park at the Transportation & Ticket Center. They should open 2 hours in advance of Magic Kingdom's opening time, and there will be an early monorail running for Guests with breakfast reservations. You could also park at the Contemporary and then move your car, but with your early Capture Your Moment photo session, I don't recommend that, as it's a time-consuming process.

Now that you're all set with your parking, it's time to focus on fun! Enjoy your breakfast with Mickey and his pals, and note that you're welcome to ask for more of anything brought to your table. I LOVED the topping on the Banana Bread French Toast and actually scooped it off the toast and put it on my Mickey Waffles. A match made in heaven! The breakfast potatoes are another standout and we had, ahem, a few helpings. If you have any picky Mouseketeers in your party, please speak to your server - ours was happy to bring lots of fruit for mine. Once you've had some fun at Magic Kingdom Park and are ready for more deliciousness, I recommend heading straight to Sleepy Hollow for the Ginger Apple Funnel Cake (though you really can't go wrong with anything on that menu). Check out the Disney Parks Blog's Foodie Guide to the Holidays for tons of yummy holiday food options.

Kristen, have the most merry and magical visit to Walt Disney World! If you have any further questions as you make your list and check it twice, please come back and see us.

    Wishing you much magic,
    Robyn
