Hi! If you are staying off-site, How do we get into the parks and into LL? We usually stay at a Disney resort and have our keycard to "tap in" but since we are staying off site.. how do we get in to everything? (we do not do magic bands)

    Hi Stephanie!

Welcome to planDisney!  As Princess Tiana would say, you're Almost There - almost to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation that is!  I just returned from my most recent trip last week and I'm already missing my happy place!

Stephanie, like you, my family sometimes chooses to stay off-site during our Walt Disney World Resort vacations.  You'll be happy to know that you still have options for theme park entrance available during your visit.  I see that you are not interested in using a MagicBand+, but you could set up passes to enter the parks and tap in for Lightning Lanes using Disney's MagicMobile Service.  From your My Disney Experience Mobile App, you can find your linked tickets under My Tickets and Passes.  Beneath each ticket, you'll see an option to "Save to Wallet."  After clicking that button, you can follow the prompts to add your ticket to your mobile wallet.  Then at each theme park or attraction entrance, you can access your ticket in your mobile wallet and tap in as you would with a MagicBand or card.  If you'd prefer a physical card, you are welcome to stop by Guest Relations at any of the theme parks for assistance.

Depending on where you are staying you may be able to still access Early Theme Park Entry which is available to guests staying in hotels that are part of the Disney Resorts Collection as well as select hotels located near Walt Disney World Resort.  It's important to have your hotel reservation linked to your My Disney Experience account if you're staying at one of these hotels and hoping to take advantage of the early hours.  Also, remember that as an off-site guest, you can make your first Lightning Lane selections through Disney Genie+ and join Virtual Queues beginning at 7:00 AM, however, Individual Lightning Lanes will not be available for purchase until the parks open.  If you run into any problems linking your reservation, you can use the chat feature on the Walt Disney World Resort website or call a Cast Member for assistance.

Stephanie, I hope this is helpful and that you have a wonderful time visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth!  If you have any other vacation planning questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney - we're all ears!

    See ya real soon!
