If I am staying offsite do I need to select a PIN number in the My Disney Experience app? Since I will not be using it to make purchases while at Disney, I wondered if I needed the PIN in case someone's magicband was lost? Thank you!

Hello Chelsea, thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

My Disney Experience mobile app can be used by any day Guest or Disney Resort hotel Guest to allow complete control over daily Theme Park plans. Disney Resort hotel Guests are those who only need to input a PIN number upon check-in at their resort hotel which will allow them to charge purchases to their account. Chelsea, you need not worry about a PIN since you are staying off site.

In the event of a Lost MagicBand before your vacation visit the MagicBand section on My Profile in the My Disney Experience website where you'll need to deactivate that MagicBand. Upon deactivation you'll be asked for a reason, simply input that it was lost.

In the event of a lost MagicBand during your visit, please consult a Cast Member at Guest Relations at any Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park or at Disney Springs who will assist you. Or, you can deactivate the lost MagicBand through My Disney Experience mobile app.

    Tip:
Memory Maker allows unlimited digital Disney PhotoPass photos and videos from attractions and experiences. I love how those unique Magic Shots are included too.

I hope you find this information useful, Chelsea and wish you a wonderful visit. It would be our pleasure to assist you with your planning in the near future.
