We are staying offsite and meeting our friends at the Polynesian Resort. They booked the VIP Tour and we will be joining them. How exactly do we get from our offsite hotel to inside the Polynesian resort? We have our tix and reservations.

Hello there! Welcome to planDisney, Heath! We are so excited you are here!

Oh my goodness, you are in for such a treat with your Disney VIP Tour. I had the pleasure of taking a tour on my most recent family vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, and it is an experience I will not soon forget! Your VIP tour guide will expertly customize your day, but be sure to let them know any "must-do" experiences to ensure they prioritize those for you. One of my favorite parts of the tour was chatting with our guide as we walked through the parks. She had so many fun Walt Disney World facts to share and pointed out tons of incredible hidden gems throughout the day, so I highly recommend striking up a conversation!

Unfortunately, you cannot park at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort unless you are a registered Guest staying at the hotel. But, worry not, you can easily park at Magic Kingdom Park, which is just around the river bend from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Once parked, you can use the tram to head to the Transportation and Ticket Center. From there, hop on The Resort Monorail to meet your friends at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Easy enough, right, Heath?

If you don't have a car at your disposal, you can use a ride share service, like Lyft, and be dropped at the Transportation and Ticket Center and follow the same steps as above. An even easier option is available if you have a confirmed dining reservation at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort ahead of your VIP Tour. In this case, your rideshare driver can drop you directly at the hotel entrance! However, it is essential to note that the Cast Member at the resort gate will likely require proof of reservation before allowing your driver to drop you off. If you don't already have a dining reservation for the day, I highly recommend using the My Disney Experience App to grab a breakfast reservation at either 'Ohana or Kona Café. Both offer a delicious way to start your day!

Heath, I am so excited (and a little jealous, if I'm being honest) that you are about to have such a magical experience. I just know you are going to be blown away by the day!

Please visit us again soon, as we love helping our fellow Guests make the most of their Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

    See you real soon!
