If staying offsite, what kind of park tickets do you use? I used the Magic Band on my last visit, but I don't think they would be available if not staying on property.

    Hi there, Marsha!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about park tickets.  First off, take a look at your options for theme park tickets.  I do not know the details of your trip, but I always recommend purchasing the Park Hopper Option.  This will allow you to visit all 4 major Walt Disney World Parks on any given day during your vacation.  Without it, you are limited to just 1 park per day.  With regard to MagicBands, testing is still underway.  As of this moment, only guests staying on property are able to use the MagicBands if they receive an invitation to do so .  Information regarding the use of MagicBands is changing frequently.  For this reason, I suggest you keep an eye on Disneyworld.com and The Disney Parks Blog for the most recent information.

I wish you a truly magical vacation!
