    Hi! Staying offsite; 9 a.m. Keys to the Kingdom tour booked w/report time at 8:45 at Town Hall. MK opens at 9 that day. How do I get in to Town Hall before park opening? What time do monorails/ferry boats start running from TTC? Thanks!

    Hey there, Kathleen. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. 

    I am excited for you that you are going to do the Keys to the Kingdom Tour at Magic Kingdom Park. I love specialty tours and this one is great! In the morning the ferry and the monorail will start from the Transportation and Ticket Center 45 minutes prior to Magic Kingdom Park opening. If you are on the first boat over, you will have plenty of time to get to City Hall for your tour check-in. We often stay off site as well. I like to put in where I am going the day before in the GPS around the same time I'll be traveling to get accurate driving times and I hope you'll do the same. Florida traffic can vary depending on the time of day and this is a great way to get a pretty good estimate. If it were me, I'd arrive at the Transportation and Ticket Center no later than 7:45 a.m. to allow yourself plenty of time to park and then walk up to the gates and go through security. I've heard Cast Members say plenty of times that the ferry is the fastest way over to Magic Kingdom Park, I have no idea if that is true but it does hold a lot of people. So you will most definitely get on that first ferry if that is the transportation mode you choose. From there it's a short ride over to Magic Kingdom Theme Park. Once you arrive you'll be able to scan your MagicBand and head straight into the park to enjoy the day!
