Staying offsite 11/ 6-13 and was only doing MK one day with DD7 & DD 5. Looked at the hours that day and see that it's only open from 9-7 pm. We also have Cinderellas Castle booked for lunch at 2pm. Should I plan to 2 days at MK or go to MVMCP?

Hi Cathy! This is a tough call as you will most likely will want to spend more time in this great park. The Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a lot of fun between the special entertainment and the snow on Main Street.  The parade and fireworks will be just for the party that night and only seen during this event.  However, it will make it a very long day for your children.  Generally the attraction lines during the special parties are shorter then during regular park hours making the evening a great time to hit those popular ones.

Planning a second day gives you a more relaxed visit to the Magic Kingdom.  It would also allow you to enjoy some of the often missed entertainment and attractions.  If you are staying close enough to the property you can go back in the morning and then take a rest break mid day to return for the evening activities.

Many guests do try to do it all in a day and find that by the end of their vacation they are exhausted!  You can enjoy a Disney trip far more if you make priorities for what you want to see and do and just enjoy the days doing what you can and forgetting the rest. Walt Disney World will not be going away and planning a second trip can be twice as much fun!
