We're staying offsite, so when we bring our email ticket print-outs to exchange for plastic cards, can we expect a delay on Day 1 to do this at park opening? Would it be more advisable to do this the day before our "day 1" at Magic Kingdom?

    Hi Jason,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian!

Although the waits at Guest Relations or at a Ticket Window to pick up your Theme Park Tickets (and your Admission Cards) are relatively manageable, I’m of the opinion that it’s a delay that is easily avoided.

Instead, I’d highly recommend heading to Guest Relations at Disney Springs in order to pick up your party’s tickets  before your first visit to the Theme Parks, because you don't need a Theme Park Ticket to visit Disney Springs. It’s what I normally do and I find that it’s great to get that crucial first step out of the way when I’m not itching to see Cinderella Castle. Picking up your tickets beforehand at Disney Springs is the perfect way to ensure a smooth start to your Disney day when you do finally get to Magic Kingdom Park… and you can get a little bit of shopping done while you’re picking them up, too!

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
