Hi there, Kate!
Starting your morning off with Mickey, waffles, and monorail vibes sounds perfectly magical. Let's go over all the parking details for
Disney's Contemporary Resort so that you can finalize plans for your upcoming best day ever.
Guests with a dining reservation can choose the
valet parking option when they arrive. I spoke with a friendly Cast Member who stated that the time limit associated with a dining reservation would be based on that day's availability. I imagine this is not the solid answer you were hoping for to wrap up that itinerary. Here are my parking tips for both scenarios so you can have plans on hand when you arrive.
When you arrive at the resort for breakfast, you will need to check in with security. Be sure to have your photo ID and dining reservation confirmation on hand. The Security Host at the resort entrance will be able to confirm if valet parking is available, and what time restrictions may be in place for parking associated with a dining reservation. If valet parking is available and time restrictions for dining are not in place, the Security Host will direct you where to take your vehicle. You will hand the car off and head inside for breakfast and plenty of character hugs. When you are ready to head over to Magic Kingdom, you can take the monorail or enjoy a leisurely walk to the gates.
Should time limits be in place for valet parking, I would opt to self-park at the resort. This way, you avoid paying for both theme park and valet parking. After breakfast, you can take the short drive to the Magic Kingdom parking lot and find your spot for the day. Don't forget to use the
Car Locator feature in the My Disney Experience app. Trying to find your vehicle at the end of the day is a whole new adventure that is most likely not on your must-do list!
Wishing you a magical stay full of memories!
