We are staying offsite and have ADR for Tusker House @8am in AK, how would we be able to get there in time? I have heard that the AK parking lot does not open early enough, so could we park somewhere else and ride the tram/bus to get to our ADR in time?

When we were at the Animal Kingdom for an early morning in January, the parking lot opened at 7:30 a.m. So, if you are driving to the Animal Kingdom, the parking lot opens at 7:30 a.m. Otherwise, you'll take a WDW bus from your resort hotel. I'd recommend getting to the bus stop at 7:15 a.m.

Once you are at the Animal Kingdom, proceed through Security and then to the entrance turnstiles. To the far right are lines dedicated to early morning tours (Wild Africa Trek) and Character breakfast dining. A cast member will check your name on the reservation list, then you'll use your park admission to enter the park.

Cast Members will be situated along the route to point you towards the Tusker House restaurant in Harambe, Africa. Donald's Safari breakfast serves up an enjoyable morning buffet!

Enjoy a leisurely stroll. With the park not open to the general public yet, it's a wonderful time to get some good photos!
