We will be staying at an off-property resort for Halloween in Orlando this year and were wondering if trick-or-treating at Fort Wilderness is open to the public? I understand activities are for campers only, but am unclear about trick-or-treating. Thanks!

Hi Chris! Fort Wilderness indeed allows trick or treating but it is set up for only Disney resort guests. In years past many "locals" were able to attend but the crowds became too large and traffic too dangerous. At this time only resort guests will be able to enjoy this special activity. It is always hard to be traveling during holidays with children and you find being creative is a necessity to keep them happy. It certainly can test our abilities!
