We will be staying off-property and I'm trying to decide whether its worth getting one annual pass to save on parking and dining in the parks. Where can I find more detail about which dining qualifies for the pass-holder discount?

    Hi Alicia,

If you are staying more than a few days or planning meals at a number of the restaurants featuring the 20 percent passholder discount in honor of Walt Disney World's 45th anniversary, an annual pass for one member of your party may be a savings for you.

For one thing, complimentary standard parking (currently valued at $20 a day) is included with annual passes. In addition, through September 30, 2017, annual passholders receive a 20 percent discount on merchandise at Disney-owned venues.

You'll find a list of the restaurants offering the 20 percent 45th anniversary discount to passholders here. You may also want to look through the full list of discounts and benefits for passholders to see what other experiences, such as special tours, offer a passholder discount. A number of other restaurants offer a 10 percent discount to passholders as well.

You may have to do a little math, Alicia, but it could save you in the long run.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're always happy to assist with any planning questions you have.

    Enjoy,
