We are staying at an official Walt Disney World hotel near Disney Springs. Our hotel has transportation to the Magic Kingdom, but if we decide to leave from Disney Springs instead of our hotel, what would be the easiest way for us to get to the park?

    Hi Kim! Welcome to planDisney!

Oh boy! Your trip is fast approaching!

One thing that makes Walt Disney World so special is the various modes of transportation you can take to get from place to place. Part of the fun is being able to travel by boat, bus, monorail, and through the air on the Disney Skyliner

Being that your hotel provides transportation to the Magic Kingdom Park, this will be the most direct way to get there on a daily basis. If you find yourself at Disney Springs, you'll have a few options to get over there. Unfortunately, there are no buses that run to any of the parks directly from Disney Springs. If you want to stick with Disney transportation, you have the following options:

Although these options have multiple steps involved to get to your destination, they will be the most fun. You can always take a ride share service from Disney Springs. There are two special pick-up locations, one is on the west side and the other is near the Marketplace. The drop-off location at the Magic Kingdom will be located at the Ticket and Transportation Center. You will still need to take a monorail to get to your final destination.

You picked a great location to stay during your Walt Disney World vacation! Being within walking distance to Disney Springs gives you access to some of the best restaurants on property! You have to try Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' while you are there. Every item on the menu is perfection and it a must-do on every trip. Also, Gideon's Bakehouse is now open and has quickly become a staple. They are known for their nearly half-pound cookies but also feature a variety of cakes and coffees. It's the perfect treat to pick up on day one and have in your room to snack on for the duration of the trip!

Kim, have a magical time on your upcoming stay! Have a great time being a part of the World's Most Magical Celebration!

    See ya real soon!
