Hi there Chris, and welcome to
planDisney! Thanks for stopping by to chat about your fall vacation.
October is a boo-tiful time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. In addition to the
Magic Kingdom Park's usual seasonal decor, this year you'll enjoy
Cinderella Castle as it sparkles with its
50th-anniversary brilliance. Be sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog for more information about fall festivities and anniversary celebration events.
To add your
Disney Springs Resort Area Hotel reservation to your
My Disney Experience account, select "My Plans," then click the + sign and choose "Link Reservations & Purchases." From here you'll input the confirmation number for your resort reservation.
Keep in mind, sometimes it takes several days to process a resort reservation that is not part of the
Disney Resorts Collection. My husband and I are teachers and occasionally take advantage of the educator discount available at the
Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, and we usually have to wait 72 hours after booking before linking our resort to My Disney Experience. If you encounter any problems, call the resort directly and they'll provide you with the correct number for linking.
I hope this is helpful, Chris! Since you'll be staying so close to the unique shopping and dining of
Disney Springs, be sure to review some of the newest offerings in this dynamic neighborhood. I have a sweet tooth as strong as Winnie the Pooh's, so
Gideon's Bakehouse and
Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew are on my must-try list for my next visit to Disney Springs. Thanks again for coming by planDisney, and we look forward to seeing ya real soon!
