We are staying off site and will be visiting Magic Kingdom. Is there a place to rest with the kids if they get tired in the park? Picnic area? They are 7 &9 yr old. Thank you!

    Hi Andrea,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! As the Mother of four, I can totally relate to the need to find a spot to to rest when your children get tired. A Walt Disney World Resort vacation does entail a great deal of walking so it's a good idea to find places where your family can relax and recharge while in the Theme Parks. Here are my top picks for places to take a break while enjoying a day at the Parks:

    Magic Kingdom Park:
Tom Sawyer Island ~ Grab a snack and take a ferry over to Tom Sawyer Island and enjoy the scenery, shaded areas, and picnic tables.

    Epcot:
Future World ~ Head over to Future World and take a rest in the Sunshine Seasons Quick-Service Dining area. It's a great place for a fabulous meal too! You could also take a nice easy (and educational) boat ride on Living With The Land

    Disney's Hollywood Studios:
The benches around Echo Lake offer a comfortable place to relax and are near the center of the Park. Once you’ve rested, you can head on your way to the next Attraction.

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park
Take in a performance of Finding Nemo - The Musical and/or Festival of the Lion King. Both of these shows are amazing, and they are a wonderful way to sit and enjoy some down time in the Park.

I hope these suggestions help! Please visit us again if you have any additional vacation planning questions!

    Magical Wishes,
