We are staying off site for our trip.We are visiting MK and paying for standard parking, but we want to dine at disneys contemporary resort. Can we walk? Or will we have to drive to the resort and pay for parking there since we are not guests?

Hello, Alyssa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Walking distance from the Magic Kingdom to Disney's Contemporary Resort is approximately an 8 to 10 minute walk. Also, you can easily access the Monorail System, which is located right outside the gates of the Magic Kingdom. This complimentary service is quite enjoyable and once onboard, you can enjoy a very short 1 minute ride to the Contemporary as you will be the first stop. However, please keep in mind that you can take your car and park at the Contemporary for the duration of your dining experience only. If you are planning to head back to the Magic Kingdom, I highly recommend walking or taking the Monorail. It will save you on time.

Diane's Tip of the Day: If you are looking for some great character dining experiences, Disney has many to choose from. Make sure to grab them quickly as they are very popular for our guests and tend to go fast.
