Hi Cynthia,
Thanks for dropping in at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You've got an awesome day of food and fun planned.
As you might guess, parking at the resorts on the monorail is at a premium, especially during special events such as
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. During special events, guests with dining reservations are often limited to a two-hour window during their meal.
To avoid being asked to move your car after brunch, I would recommend parking in the regular
Magic Kingdom lot. You can then take the monorail from the Transportation and Ticket Center to the
Contemporary for your meal. If you have time to kill between
Chef Mickey's and the time you can enter Magic Kingdom for the party (entry is as early as 4 p.m.), you can ride the monorail to the
Polynesian Village Resort and/or the
Grand Floridian to shop and look around.
Or, if your meal ends close to 4 p.m., you can simply walk to Magic Kingdom from the Contemporary in 5 to 10 minutes.
Have fun at Chef Mickey's, and don't miss the
Mickey's "Boo to You" Halloween Parade at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It's awesome!
Enjoy,
Wilma
