Hey, Adrienne!
Welcome back to the Disney Park Moms Panel. This is such an important question because many Guests have off-site accommodations and need help maneuvering around the place "where dreams come true." Walt Disney World Resort hotel hopping is one of our favorite activities!
Yes, yes, yes! You may dine at any Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Some require reservations and you may park for a limited time (3 hours) at any Disney Resort hotel where you plan to eat. Some hotels require proof of your reservation while others do not. Any Resort hotel that is not your Disney vacation "home" may not serve as a daily parking spot for you. For example, you have a 7:30 a.m. reservation at Chef Mickey's inside Disney Contemporary Resort. You may park for your meal but you would need to move your car when you are done.
Once you have appropriate
parking, you may use all the
complimentary Walt Disney World Resort transportation options including trams, buses, ferry boats, water taxis and the "highway in the sky," the Walt Disney World Monorail. There is no requirement to use Disney Transportation when traveling between Disney destinations. It's free! We love getting on the monorail to take a leisurely ride over to Epcot or even around the Seven Seas Lagoon.
Disney Dad Tip: If you are at
Disney Springs and want to Resort hotel hop then catch any bus to any Disney hotel. Standard self-parking is free at Disney Springs. Please note there is no transportation from Disney Springs to the theme parks.
