We are staying off site, but are hoping to still use Disney Transportation to park hop. Is there a bus schedule I can get ahead of time to help plan our days? Thank you! :)

    Hi Sue!

I've got good news and bad news.

Everyone likes to start with the bad news first, so I'll lead off with that. Unfortunately, there isn't an official daily schedule for the Walt Disney World bus transportation, ferryboats, or Monorails (other than when they'll begin and end service each day).

Now, on to the good news!

Even though there isn't an official schedule, the transportation team at Walt Disney World does a phenomenal job at keeping their fleet constantly on the move. Depending on the crowd levels, the time of the day, and the location in which you're looking to travel, the most you may have to wait for a bus could be between 15-20 minutes. However, you may luck out and have no wait at all.

I fully admit that I'm obsessed with Walt Disney World, and part of that obsession is my interest in how everything works. I've sat back and watched the bus operators during busy times and noticed that they have support staff at the stations that monitor crowd levels at each of the stops. If they notice, for example, that the bus stop to Epcot is unusually full, they may radio their dispatch service to get the next available bus to service that stop in order to keep the guests on the move.

So, the good thing about not having an official schedule during the day is that the transportation services are constantly adapting to the crowd levels so guests can get to their next destination as quickly as possible.

I hope that helped! If you should have any other questions as you continue to plan your next vacation, please feel free to let me know and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can!

    Best regards,
    Derek
