Welcome to planDisney, Elizabeth!
As a local to Walt Disney World Resort, my family often ventures to the Disney Resorts Collection hotels for a day visit. One of our favorite hotels?
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. The culinary options alone make it a must-do when at The Most Magical Place on Earth. The Zebra Domes at Boma—Flavors of Africa, the bread service at Jiko—The Cooking Place and Sanaa, and the plentiful bowls at The Mara…you can’t go wrong.
Of course, the easiest ways to ensure entry to the parking lots of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels are to be a Guest staying at the hotel or by having a dining or experience reservation. However, not all hope is lost. When you arrive, let the parking attendant know that you plan on eating breakfast at
Sanaa at Kidani Village. Although parking is at the discretion of the attendant, I have never been turned away at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. They will ask for a photo ID and then you’ll be on your way.
AN EXTRA GEM: The great news is that the parking will be absolutely free. But you may be given a time limit of how long you can park. For example, once at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, I was given a 3-hour sign that I placed in my car’s window.
Elizabeth, you are going to have the most amazing time exploring Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Before or after your meal at Sanaa, take a moment to soak in the sights of the savanna. Watching the animals graze and play is one of the most relaxing things you can do at Walt Disney World Resort. Until then, if you have any other questions about your upcoming holiday,
give us a holler here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
