We're staying at an off site condo, first time going alone with my daughter, since I don't like to drive, I am not planning to rent a car this time. We're planning to take cabs to the parks and stay till late, will there be cabs available late nights?

    Hi Sherry,

You must be so excited and counting down the short days until your Walt Disney World vacation!

My family usually stays on property and relies on the complimentary Disney transportation, but even then, there are times when a cab is more convenient and efficient. We have never had any trouble finding one readily available, even late at night.

At Magic Kingdom, you will find cabs at the Transportation and Ticket Center or you can take the monorail to one of the nearby resort hotels for easy taxi access. At the other theme parks, the taxi stands are near the bus stations. There are usually a number of cabs lined up and waiting for customers. The same goes for Downtown Disney.

If you have trouble locating the taxi area, just ask any cast member near the exit. They will be happy to direct you.

Wishing you a wonderful visit. Enjoy the time with your daughter!
