Hello! We are staying off site with 4 children. If you pay to park, do you have to repay if you leave and come back or is the parking for a full day pass? Also- any recommendations for a great dining experience that includes a show?

    Hi there, Jackie!

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question. It looks like your Disneyland Resort vacation is less than two months away! How fun!

My family often takes a mid-day break to play in our hotel pool and rest before spending the evening in the theme parks. Fortunately, Guests can leave and re-enter Disneyland Resort Theme Park Parking areas on the same day at this time. Keep your receipt (if you receive one) and your parking ticket to re-enter the parking area. As long as parking spaces are still available, you should be good to go!

I am a big fan of dining packages, which typically include a meal and access to a reserved viewing area later in the day. The Plaza Inn Parade Dining Package may be available during your visit. It includes meals and a voucher for reserved viewing access to one of the parade performances. The food is delicious, and the reserved viewing area provides a great spot to watch the parade. I recommend getting to the viewing area at least 30 minutes in advance to secure a front-row spot.

Fantasmic! returns to Disneyland on May 24, 2024! I cannot wait! Dining packages are usually available up to 60 days in advance, and they sell out quickly. I suggest monitoring the Fantasmic! Dining Package page regularly to see if they are offered during your visit. My kids love eating at Blue Bayou Restaurant, and their grandparents enjoy the River Belle Terrace Premium Package, where Guests can enjoy their dinner and the evening’s first performance of Fantasmic! right from their outdoor table.

My favorite dining experience is the World of Color Dessert Party! Guests are served a variety of snacks, treats, and beverages while relaxing in chairs in the reserved viewing area at Paradise Gardens Park. World of Color - One is an inspirational performance that cannot be missed!

Jackie, I hope your family has a wonderful visit to Disneyland Resort! If you have other questions, I am happy to help!
