Samantha from FL Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

If I am staying off site with my children, can I still link all of our Magic bands to my credit card so that we can make purchases while in the park without having to carry cash and credit cards?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Samantha!

I love having a MagicBand when I visit the Walt Disney World Resort. It is so convenient to have my theme park admission tickets, FastPasses and Disney's PhotoPass Service photos linked to right my MagicBand. Also, as a Guest staying at Disney resort hotel, I can use my MagicBand to unlock my resort room door and pay for merchandise or food. Unfortunately, MagicBand charging privileges are only permitted for Guests staying on property. You might consider purchasing a Disney Gift Card as an option to carrying cash or credit cards while you tour the theme parks. Disney Gift Cards can be used as payment at any Disney owned and operated venue that accepts credit cards.
