Hi there Kristine, I'd like to wish you a warm Canadian welcome back to planDisney!
I remember you reaching out to the wonderful
Lynne about your upcoming stay this spring at a vacation home rental during the
runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend; I'm glad that you've come back to ask about your early Magic Kingdom Park morning plans! Funny enough, I just ate at the
Crystal Palace today and have a few of my own Princely Picks, Tips and Tricks that can help prepare you best for your upcoming breakfast:
- The Magic Kingdom Park hours from April 13th onward begin at 8:30 AM with Disney Resort Guests taking advantage of Early Theme Park Entry. For this reason, the Resort Monorail loop that also connects from the Ticket and Transportation Center and Magic Kingdom Park stops also runs earlier to meet the demand of guests getting a head start. While monorail times are subject to availability and may change without prior notice, we found that they began running very early during our last stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. In fact, we were able to catch a monorail ride even half an hour earlier than we expected!
- I would recommend ensuring that you arrive to park your vehicle earlier than 7:30 AM to be on the safe side; upon arrival at the Ticket and Transportation Center you can determine whether the next available option would be a ferry or monorail to convey you to the other side the Seven Seas Lagoon. (Generally speaking, I find the ferry to be the slower option unless a monorail has just departed or is experiencing a temporary delay.)
- Be on the lookout for designated Crystal Palace Cast Members with signage tasked with directing guests with early Dining Reservations ahead of park opening. In our experience, they were wearing distinctively bright yellow costumes and positioned toward the ends of the admission turnstiles at the Magic Kingdom Park entrance.
As with anything I've learned at Walt Disney World Resort, this could all be subject to change ahead of your trip in April so I would recommend keeping an eye out for any updates and plan your morning as early as possible just to play it safe. Please
let me know if you have any other questions ahead of your upcoming voyage to the warmer weather at Walt Disney World Resort!
Wishing you all the best on your early breakfast quest!
