We are staying off site and have a breakfast reservation for 4 adults and 4 children for Akershus in Epcott for 9:20 May 14th. When do we need or when can we arrive in order to make our reservation? We don't want to have to rush.

    Hi Diana,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so happy to hear that you are planning to enjoy breakfast at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. That is one of my favorite dining experiences at Epcot and one of my favorite ways to start an Epcot morning. Plus, my two little princes love to lead the parade with the Disney Princesses! (And did I mention the potato casserole? Because it's amazing!)

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is in World Showcase's Norway Pavilion, so it is a bit of the walk from the front entrance of the theme park. I recommend that you plan on arriving at the front entrance of Epcot no later than 8:30 a.m. for your reservation. If you are driving, that will give you time to park your car and walk through the parking lot. No matter what mode of transportation you use, you will then need to go through security at the front of the theme park, which can be very busy at the beginning of the day.

On most days, Epcot opens at 9:00 a.m., but allows early theme park entrance for Guests with an early breakfast reservation. There are special entrance queues for Guests with early breakfast reservations, which are generally located towards the right side of the of the entrance queues. You should arrive at the park entrance a bit before 9:00 a.m., so proceed the early breakfast reservation queues to enter the theme park.

Before the theme park opens, Cast Members located throughout the park will be directing you towards your restaurant, so you shouldn't have a problem finding your way through the park. This entrance time should be perfect to give you plenty of time to enjoy a beautiful morning walk through the theme park and take some family photos on your way. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
