Hello Helen and thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with such an important question.
I'm so excited to know you are planning to visit
Walt Disney World Resort during your stay in the beautiful Orlando area and I'm quite sure you'll enjoy a fabulous time!
Each Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park benefits from it's own large parking lot and I'm happy to share with you that currently
Parking for non-Disney Resort Guests is covered by a
one fee for a parking pass which is good for all day use at any of the 4 Disney Theme Parks; which means you could spend the morning at a Disney Theme Park, go back to your lodgings and return to park your vehicle on the same day and only incur 1 parking fee.
You may be pleased to know that currently standard self-parking at either of Disney's 2 Water Parks and Disney Springs is complimentary for
all Guests.
My top parking tip is to be sure to take a quick snap on your smart phone of your designated parking area and row number because after what might be a long and magical day it's easy to forget if you were parked in either
Rapunzel or
Zurg!
To help plan your arrival timings you may wish to utilise the
Park Hours & Calendars; I would recommend allowing yourselves up to an hours travel time, after all you are on vacation and there's no need for added time constraints or stress.
Have a great Disney day.
