Hi, Kristen! Thanks for bringing this great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
One of the things I always look forward to when planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is deciding which of the many incredible restaurants I wish to visit.
Dining reservations for table-service meals at the Walt Disney World Resort are strongly recommended. Reservations for popular locations tend to fill up quickly, so it's great that you are already thinking about this.
Walt Disney World Resort dining reservations can be made 180 days in advance whether you are a
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guest or are staying elsewhere. The only difference is that 180 days prior to arrival, Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guests may make dining reservations for their entire trip, up to 10 days. If you are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you must make your dining reservations one day at a time. So you will be able to make your dining reservations 180 before you arrive at your other hotel, you will just need to make them one day at a time. Then once you are 180 days from your check-in at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you may make your dining reservations for the remainder of your trip, as long as it is for 10 days or less.
With upbeat
character dining experiences, unique restaurant offerings at
Disney Springs, elegant
fine dining options, and everything in between, there truly is something to appeal to every guest's taste buds. Wishing you lots of magical dining adventures!
Samantha
