We are staying off resort, and to avoid waiting for hotel shuttles we were contemplating driving to the park. Are there in and out privledges for paid parking passes if we decide to leave mid afternoon and come back to the same park in evening?

    Hi Erin,

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your great question about parking at the Walt Disney World Resort.  As the official vacation planner for my own family, I like how you are making plans to include some rest in your afternoon or "feet off the floor time" as we call it in our family.  Taking an afternoon break is something we always try to incorporate into our vacation plans, too.

I am happy to inform you that once you pay for parking at a theme park, you may leave and return and for no additional charge.  Simply keep your receipt and show it when you return.  As an added bonus, if you decide to "park hop" and go visit a different theme park later you will not need to pay for parking again on the same day.  Just show your receipt and you will be good to go!

Erin, one really neat thing I want to share with you if you decide to drive is the Car Locator feature within your My Disney Experience Mobile app.  I have recently used this myself and can tell you it is a lovely feature!

Please come back and visit us again with all of your vacation planning questions.  We are always so happy to help other Guests plan their next Magical adventure!

    See Ya Real Soon,
