Hiya Dwight! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! It sounds like you have a
Walt Disney World vacation on the books! I'm sure you are getting excited about your upcoming visit and all the magical memories you are bound to make!
When staying in a non-Disney Resorts Hotel, you will be required to
pay for parking when visiting any of the four theme parks. Unfortunately, there is no option to pre-pay or purchase a parking pass for the duration of your stay. You'll need to pay for parking daily when arriving at the park each day. You'll only be required to pay for parking once per day, so if you end up park-hopping to another park, you will not have to pay again.
There are two options to pay when you arrive, either preferred or standard parking. Preferred parking allows you to park close to the entrances of each park, so if you don't want to walk a far distance, the added value may make sense for you. There are trams available if you choose standard parking that will give you a ride to the front if you don't want to walk.
Dwight, I know after a long day at the parks that sometimes remembering where you parked your vehicle may be difficult. Walt Disney World introduced a new Car Locator feature on the
My Disney Experience App. It uses Location Services to find and save your parking details at most parking locations at Walt Disney World. Make sure to download the app for not only this benefit but for everything else it will help you out with on your park days!
Have a magical vacation, Dwight!
See ya real soon!
Greg
