If we are staying off property but want to spend a day exploring the resorts and Disney Springs, where can we park? Can Disney Transportation be used to explore??

Hi Lisa! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am so glad you’re planning to explore Disney Springs and some Disney Resort Hotels during your upcoming visit! It should be very easy to accomplish with your own car on property. First, I am happy to share that complimentary standard self-parking is available for Guests visiting Disney Resort Hotels for the day to enjoy select dining, shopping, entertainment and recreation experiences. So feel free to enjoy a bit of shopping, some dining, or other activities at some amazing Resort Hotels on property! Disney Springs is also a wonderful place to explore, and they offer complimentary self parking for visitors there as well! Lastly, the great news is that all Theme Park guests can benefit from Disney World Transportation. So feel free to enjoy a character breakfast at 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa with Alice In Wonderland and The Mad Hatter, then maybe hop on the Monorail to explore Walt Disney World Resort from above! You’ll even probably get a glimpse of the blooms and topiaries featured as part of the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival! Then, perhaps you can take a quick bus ride from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort over to Disney Springs where you can enjoy some amazing shopping at World of Disney, and even some treats at my favorite sweet shop -- Disney's Candy Cauldron! The possibilities are truly endless, and this is such an amazing time of year to visit and take in the sights.

I hope this is making you even more excited for your upcoming Spring visit to Walt Disney World! I just love visiting during that time of year, and this year you’ll be able to experience Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! This is Mickey and Minnie’s first dedicated attraction and it promises to be a magical and unforgettable ride right into their cartoon universe.

Well, Lisa, I hope you find this information helpful and useful in planning your next visit to Walt Disney World. Please come back to see us if we can be of any more help as you continue to make magical plans!

    See ya real soon!
