    We will be staying off property but making a reservation for Chef Mickey character dinner and want to also see the water pageant. If we are parking for more than 3 hours, what will happen, do we just get charged upon exiting? Thank you

    Welcome back to planDisney, Nicole! I’m glad you find our happy group of Disney fans helpful with your vacation planning!

    Character dining at Chef Mickey’s is a family favorite! The all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet is perfect for families! My sons love to load up on the shrimp scampi! And the warm apple crisp dessert is the best way to end the meal!

    Sticking around after dinner for the Electrical Water Pageant is a great idea! This floating parade lights up the night around the resorts of the Seven Seas Lagoon! My favorite part of the parade is the salute to America when the barges display the American flag, accompanied by some patriotic music! You’ll have the perfect view from Disney’s Contemporary Resort!

    I have some great news to share with you! Guests who visit a Walt Disney World Resort hotel for dining, shopping, and/or entertainment enjoy complimentary parking at the resort hotel! Upon arrival at the Contemporary parking area, inform the Cast Member on duty that you have dining reservations for Chef Mickey’s. You might need to show your reservation confirmation to the Cast Member.

    Have a delicious dinner at Chef Mickey’s and enjoy your evening at Disney's Contemporary Resort!
