We are staying off property. However, we would like to eat breakfast at Caribbean Beach Resort before Epcot's opening at 11:00am on our visit day. Is it possible to park early at Epcot and ride the Skyliner to Caribbean Resort and back to Epcot?

Hi there Rhonda, and welcome to planDisney! It looks like your Walt Disney World Resort adventure is about to begin, and I can't imagine a better way to kick off the new year than a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Let's get you fueled up and ready to explore the World!

While I do like your idea to leave your car at EPCOT, we're going to have to re-work your plan a little bit. The Disney Skyliner station that serves EPCOT is actually near the International Gateway at the back of the Park, so you'd need to enter EPCOT and walk through the Park to reach the station if you park in the main lot. Since you're planning to be there before Park opening, you wouldn't be able to access the Disney Skyliner station from the main entrance.

But never fear, Rhonda! You can still grab a bite before your EPCOT day! Your best bet may be to drive straight to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and ask the Cast Member at the security station if you can park there while enjoying your breakfast. Alternatively, Disney bus transportation typically starts running about 45 minutes to an hour before Park opening, so you could park your car at EPCOT and head over to the bus stops to the right of the Park entrance and try catching a bus to the Resort hotel. Another option is to eat a light breakfast offsite before you arrive and save your big meal of the day for one of the amazing EPCOT restaurants. There are so many choices, you may just find you want to save your appetite for later!

Rhonda, I hope this helps you plan a practically perfect day at EPCOT. Please stop by and see us again if you have any more questions!

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
