Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rachel!
I could talk about
dining at Walt Disney World Resort all day long! There are so many delicious Quick-Service and Table-Service dining options at the Walt Disney World Resort hotels, and one of my family’s favorite things to do is resort hopping, where we visit a resort to explore, shop, and enjoy a meal. Each resort has unique theming and wonderful Disney details, and we love to really get a feel for each resort – and a taste!
Rachel, Guests who are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel are welcome to visit.
Parking is usually complimentary for up to three hours while dining or exploring, but without a dining reservation, this is at the discretion of the security Cast Member at the resort’s entrance. Parking is limited at the Magic Kingdom Park area hotels, so you may be directed to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center and then take the monorail to the resort for Quick-Service dining. (Note that you will be required to pay theme park parking if you park at the Transportation and Ticket Center.) Of course, it’s absolutely worth driving up and checking, just be prepared for this possibility. Also, remember the three-hour parking time frame, as being towed would
not be magical! My good friend Tabitha recently shared
a great parking tip if you're planning a day of resort hopping, which you might find helpful.
I wish I knew which resort Quick-Service location you’re hoping to enjoy so I could give menu suggestions. When you arrive at the resort, stop and talk to a Cast Member, as some of them have fun hidden Mickey hunt guides and informal resort tours, and Cast Members always have the best advice about their favorite menu items and special spots around the resorts. Have so much fun, enjoy every bite, and take lots of pictures!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
