We will be staying off property for 4 days followed by 2 nights at one of the Disney resorts. We will get 3 day park pass but will be going to the parks prior to staying at the resort. Will we get benefits of resort for all 3 days or only resort days?

    Welcome to planDisney, Amber!

It sounds like you've planned a really exciting trip. I'm so excited for you. There's nothing quite like staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Not only is the customer service second to none, and the theming wonderfully immersive, but the benefits of staying onsite are truly magical. I love having complimentary transportation to get around Walt Disney World Resort. My favorite way to travel is most definitely the Disney Skyliner. I also appreciate being able to make dining reservations 60 days in advance plus the length of my stay. This is a great way to snag some of the more hard to get reservations. But my absolute favorite benefit is the extra time in the theme parks.

Every Guest staying onsite can enjoy Early Theme Park Entry, which enables you to get a 30-minute jump on your Disney day. This is available every day at all four theme parks.

But that's not all! Guests staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort or other select hotels can also enjoy Extended Evening Theme Park Hours in select theme parks on select nights. Currently, these extended hours tend to be on Mondays at EPCOT and Magic Kingdom Park on Wednesdays. This is my very favorite time in the parks due to the romantic ambiance and shorter wait times.

Amber, these benefits of having extra time in the theme parks can be enjoyed on the day you check in to your Disney hotel and the day you check out. So if you're staying on property for two nights, you can actually enjoy those benefits for three days. However, if you're staying off-property on the days you're visiting the theme parks, you won't be able to take advantage of having extra time in the parks. I'm sorry if that's not the news you wanted to hear, Amber. If possible, maybe you could change your theme park reservations to the days you'll be staying at your Disney hotel. I'd definitely recommend doing so!

I hope that's helpful, Amber. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to reach out.

    TTFN, ta-ta for now!
