Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Lindsey!
Welcome to planDisney! We are THRILLED you stopped by and honored to help you plan your upcoming trip to
Disney World! It looks like you will be arriving in a few weeks—WOO HOO! We are counting down the days with you, and we can't wait to "See You Real Soon!"
Akershus Royal Dining Hall is one of the best spots at Disney World for a character breakfast, especially if you have little ones (or big ones!) who adore the Disney Princesses. In fact, this is my family's favorite spot for breakfast in ALL of Disney World! Set in a beautiful medieval castle atmosphere in the Norway Pavilion, this experience combines delicious food with the chance to meet beloved princesses like Belle, Ariel, Snow White, and more—all without waiting in long lines. The breakfast menu features hearty offerings like scrambled eggs, sausage, potato casserole, and Norwegian specialties brought family-style to your table. The setting, the service, and the ambience make it a memory-maker for sure.
Now, for your 8:45 AM Akershus reservation—great news! Even though you’re staying off property and EPCOT officially opens at 9:00 AM for you, Mickey Mouse does allow guests with early dining reservations to enter the park before regular opening time. You’ll just need to arrive at the EPCOT entrance by around 8:15 AM and let a Cast Member know that you have a dining reservation. There’s a special entry line for early dining guests, and they’ll guide you right in. Just have your confirmation ready in the
My Disney Experience app. You should have no trouble making breakfast on time and enjoying that enchanting start to your day!
NOTE: EPCOT parking should open one hour before the park opens, so that means you can park by 7:30 a.m. This will give you enough time to make your way to the EPCOT main gate to check in and then walk to Akershus for your MAGICAL breakfast!
If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way we can!
See You Real Soon!
